Angry Birds / Hostile Eden, Installation.

Edinburgh Castle window: 681 Sydney Rd (cnr Albion St), Brunswick, VIC.

This was created specifically for this unusually shaped window gallery. I recreated the exact dimensions of the window space in my studio and designed the installation to occupy the entire space. It was heavily influenced by the politics surrounding the 2013 Australian Federal Election in relation to Australian history, comparing that to contemporary suburban neighborhood relations and notions of home ownership. In a suburban backyard, Australia’s dirty international and domestic politics are played out with toys and household objects.
