Pill tray series

I have been collecting pill packaging for several years with a few experiments along the way, but it is only recently that I have started producing a body of work out of them.

Most of the plastic and foil trays are from Nature’s Own Complete Sleep pills which unfortunately I go through a lot of. Others are from Amitriptyline and other prescription medication. The themes vary from purely colour and form composition to conceptual juxtaposition. As with most of my work, most of the materials are non-recyclable waste and found objects.

Most of the finished pieces are about 10cm x 7cm and come ready with both options to hang on a wall or stand on a shelf or cabinet.
